These pages are just for fun. They are images and oddities I have been fooling with in some way during this class.

[We are all a bit mad !!]   ALICE & CHESSIE were the image used for the original index/cover page to cat-ti-tude. They were created by framing an illustration from "Alice in Wonderland." Chessie and I just couldn't quite part with this one yet.

[My 1st Image Map!]  MY FIRST IMAGE MAP   I was fiddling with this and thinking of using it or something like it as the navigation tool for this class site. I don't think the links are very well defined, but it was fun to do and kind of cute. Go ahead and click the kitty's noses. You never know where, if any place at all, they might send you. Cats are funny that way you know...

[Ever Changing Layers]   LAYERS FOR HALLOWEEN  This was the graphic used at the entry of the site for the Halloween season. Next it became an *autumn* version of the same house. Changing the attitude or seasons of a picture like this is a snap if you have saved the original layers of a graphic in PSP format. All you have to do is hide the layers you do not want, then add the new ones. Merge and save a copy with all visible layers adnd POOF, you have an updated version of the graphic.

[Cool Color Effect!]  A COOL COLOR EFFECT   I just read about this blend effect in a newsletter and had to give it a try.   Hummm, It has my wheels turning with some possible uses.

[Experiments With BIG Backgrounds!]  BIGGGGGG BACKGROUND IMAGES   I saw a fellow student in another class using this type of background on her class pages and all the sudden, I forgot what the week's lesson was over there and wanted to play with backgrounds in PSP.  Each of these is just one giant image designed for use mostly on pages that will fill only a single screen.  Some can be scrolled as the images do repeat, but you have to be really careful about the way the images break for that.  Also, the file sizes on the ones I used here range from 20KB to 6KB...smaller than lots of tiled or bordered bg's I have used and/or created.
Take a peek and let me know what you think !
