hummm, linda's pet water fowl and her soon to be famous fake halftones in color. now that's a combination that's too good to pass up.

here i started with auto adjustments on the ducks, then to try to pull them out in the drawing i applied sharpen and sharpen more. a new raster layer was added and flood filled with dots. opacity of that layer was lowered and dodge blend mode applied. layers were merged.

image was then converted to gray scale and back to 16M. a new copy of the photo was then added as another layer. blend mode of burn applied and opacity lowered. layers were again merged.

a brightness and contrast adjustment layer was used to bring up the drawing. auto enhance saturation applied. manual color correction in skintone/asian dark was applied to the entire image.

a white border was then placed around the entire image and the rectangle mask that comes with psp7 was applied.

histogram was adjusted, image was resized and unsharp mask applied.

once again, because the file size was so large even at a compression of 40 which i felt was as high as it would bear, i chose to slice the image.
