Cooler, but clear & bright. Lazy AM of presents & breakfast.
You have to see the vintage 1950's garnet & diamond ring Tony found
for me! He scored big points with this bauble. [grin]
Family phone calls. Sun on our faces by pool with books then off for a drive to
old downtown Pensicola and back to watch the sunset from West Beach.
Awesome colors. Small but pretty shells for days, probably because the tides had been
a bit high for the gulf the night before.
I can't really speak for Tony, but I have decided the neighborhood/area
we had spotted before in West Beach/Little Lagoon is still my favorite
by far. Now to find a place there...ahhhh! Need to go walk neighborhoods
in daylight. Make note of names of streets, street #'s and beach access
points. Access is a major issue in this section of the beach as most of
it is private only.
The sunsets were a perfect way to end the daylight hours. We then headed
back to the condo to indulge in the pile of shrimp purchased Christmas
Eve and steamed to spicy purrrfection by Chef Tony.
[All sunset views from West Beach near 13th Street. Small pictures are
all clickable for larger views. Apologies in advance for the red to bright
yellow tone artifacting, especially at lower resolution viewing. The files
were getting rather huge at a higher quality so required high reduction
for webviewing.]
