late night, late august, 2001 september & the first day of classes rapidly approach. i shudder at the thought of the wicked wysiwyg editor. all instincts tell me to remove the dreaded intruder from my systems and run, yes run, back to my beloved notepad. ah, but i have been told that grown-ups use dreamweaver. but do i want to grow up? *sigh* better i am told to trust the weaver of dreams than some of the other evil editors (did not call fp by name here) which twist and tear my sweet little codes beyond repair. in the past months i have started to slip from my rigid beliefs, even allowed sweet, silly psp to play with my pages...and it knows even less than i do about proper codes! but a whole big editor program that looks suspiciously like a word processor??? oh dear, i must keep an open mind. must remember, must remember, now what was that quote? ahhhh, here it is: "there is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep man <or woman as the case may be> in everlasting ignorance --- that principle is contempt prior to investigation." someone named herbert spencer said that...dunno who he is, but i think i best listen. time to sleep now, may look at the bizarre editing invader of my little world tomorrow. goodnight for now, _^..^_ |
